The story of Winery Bollaert starts in 1935 when Alfred Remue decided to make fruit wine and sell it to friends and acquaintances. Daughter Rachel and her husband André Bollaert tasted Alfred's passion, and Winery Bollaert was born. When their sons Luc and Freddy Bollaert took over the business in 1984, the company was in full bloom. They further focused on the import of wines, aperitifs and spirits from Europe, but added newer, emerging wine regions to the range. Today, the third and fourth generations of the Bollaert family are involved in the business, and the company has grown into an entrepreneurial and passionate team.

When you step into the experience store in Merelbeke, you quickly discover that we are family. We move around each other, as a customer you feel the familiarity in the interaction enormously. Yet, each of us has inherited the passion for the beverage sector from an early age, which is why we are more than happy to share our knowledge and expertise with you. We have found that personal contact has been incredibly important since the beginning, but innovation is also something that our entrepreneurial family can no longer do without.
